1866 Gran Reserva
NB were asked by Pernod Ricard Spain to have a look at the packaging, bottle structure and branding for premium brandy 1866. Only sold in Spain, to a very niche audience of men aged 45 – 60, the packaging needed a refresh. Our role was to ensure that the packaging lived up to the product in the bottle.
So as not to alienate our audience we recognised that this was about an evolution not a revolution for the bottle, label and canister.
We built on the existing look and feel of 1866 with the colours and symbols. We also explored the visual cues of the brandy world and had fun with vintage Cognac labels and graphics.
The finished product will be hitting shelves in Spain at the end of September.
